Change is something most of us fear because we for the most part are creatures of habit, unsettled by the fact that what is to come might not be as good as what we already have.

This is true, and yet it is so very false; change need not be feared, for without change our lives would stagnate. The fact that life never has is because change is a normal part of life, in fact one so normal that some would consider it mundane!

People change, there is no denying that. You have changed and are not the person you were a decade ago. Like you, I have also changed. I am no longer the person whom I once were. And indeed, I could not be more delighted over having realised such a fact!

I have moved on to close a chapter of my life and I am now on a quest to improve my own self and make the most of the template that is I. I shall practice self-restraint and make sure to limit my responsibilities to instead treasure the ones that I have.

I have decided to become a new person, and though I never will be able to deny having been the person I once were, I intend on remembering that Josephine by nothing but the lessons she learnt and the experiences that she acquired; what made me what I am today.

I once defined myself as an artist, but I do this no more. I still have a flair for creativity, but it is no longer my primary goal and aim here in life. I have not drawn for many months now, and I have realised that it is something I do not miss.

Previously I saw drawing as a chore, I do this no more. I have talent, but I shall use it on my own terms; I shall not draw for the sole sake of drawing as it is what has exhausted this my previous passion.

No longer shall I attempt to make others carry my burdens for me. I shall not complain nor brag before having thought the matter through both twice and thrice, and in the end I am still likely to keep it to myself. My burdens are mine and no-one else's to bear.

Whenever I say, share or tell something it will be for the sole purpose of allowing you to learn from my mistakes. I shall no longer attempt to convince you of my convictions; instead I shall allow you to think and reason for yourself. Everything I from hereon write shall be nothing but a pleasure to read.

Thank you everyone who has stood by me; thank you for having visited my gallery, commented on my pictures and added them to your favourites. Thank you for encouraging me, thank you for supporting me, thank you for having been among the kindest people I have ever met.

This my gallery shall remain because I some day might rediscover my creative passions (of this I am actually quite sure!) and I then need somewhere whereto return. In the meantime I shall limit my online presence to a few select sites and instead do my best to live my life.

Something good comes from every change, though it might have been feared at first. Without change no-one would be able to grow to become more than the sum of their parts; and just imagine what a poor world that would be!
