"Please tell me Mr. Horse, why are you so big?" the little giraffe says.
"Because that is the way I am, little giraffe." The big horse looks at the small giraffe in front of him. Just a few seconds ago, he was all by himself in this lush landscape. Even if he enjoyed it, he is now happy that the giraffe's child-like mind is there to accompany him. --------------------------- This is my masterpiece. I just love this picture. It did not take me too long to draw, I enjoyed drawing it so much, so I finished it in no time. The horse was drawn upon the sketch featured on my sketch page Sketch XI. At first, I did not intend to add Smulis to the picture, but the horse seemed to be so lonely, but still it looked like he was talking to someone. The little captition came into my head when I was drawing Smulis, a question which only a small child can ask, out of curiousity. If there was no such thing as curiosity none of us would be where we are today. I am aware of that the landscape is a little flat and not that detailed, but with more details, focus would be taken from the horse and Smulis. By the way, those mountains took quite some time to shade, even if they are not very detailed ;D --------------------------- This is one of the best pictures I have done, in my eyes, even if it is a little minimalistic. Something about it appeals to me, so much. Please tell me what you think about it! |
