But this will not be one of my usual long journals, going on and on about the miracles of the world. No, as people in a grey world, we fear what is good and like to find joy in other people's misery.
But in the spirit of the season of happiness and love, I wish you all a merry Christmas or Happy Holidays, whichever you prefer.
Today I would also have uploaded +Not.of.This.World+ but as my uploading capabilities are rather limited due to a meschevious Internet connection, I had to upload it before the winter break shut me off from the school's computers.
On New Years Eve, you will however get to see a picture which has awaited uploading patiently for the past year.
What I have been up to, during the few days I had on my hands before Christmas, is not much.
Saturday I went to the movies and saw Disney's Enchanted. If any of you find yourselves without anything to do during the winter break, spend a few dollars (or whatever your currency is) and see it. For those who enjoy the Disney movies, princesses or simply sweet fairy tales, the movie is sure not to make you disappointed.
As a no-fan of Disney's I found myself breathtaken by the movie nontheless. If I were offered the opportunity to see it again, I would not hesitate. The world is in desperate need of sweet stories such as the one the story is about. At least for an hour and a half one may be spellbound by its magic.
Earlier today I went to the movies one more time and saw the latest Swedish production, the movie about the knight templar Arn (which has been based upon the books by Jan Gillou, a Sweish writer).
It is the best Swedish movie I have seen to date, not having been colored by the usually cynical grey views of the world Swedish films usually feature. It was a Ingmar Bergman- style movie, so for those who enjoy that kind of productions, the film about Arn will bring some pleasant experiences.
Personally I also think it resembled the filmatizations of Astrid Lindgren's works as well, with fair birch forests and Swedish influences.
If the movie will be exported to the US I do not yet know. Rumor says that it already has been sold to be shown there, but as the word rumor suggests, I know nothing for sure just yet.
No matter what, I wish you all a sincerely Merry Chrsitmas and Happy Holidays!

I wish I could greet you in Finnish, as you were kind and greeted me in Swedish. D: Perhaps you can tell me how to say: "Merry Christmas" in Finnish?
Thank you again for your well wishes
I am sure you will not be disappointed in the movie Enchanted if you like princesses or Disney's Classics.

I want to see both movies, especially the one about Arn. Both me and my boyfriend are big fans of the books.
